This bottle is made from virgin not recycled plastic. Our rationale was that our refill range is made from consciously sourced planet friendly ingredients. Customers choose high quality, low impact cleaning and body products because they care about the chemical content of their products. There is an increased risk of contamination when using recycled plastic particularly if you are a small business unable to control manufacturing, hence our decision to err on caution and choose virgin plastic.
We are trialling these bottles to see if they make getting into refilling easier. If they prove popular we will review our sourcing.
