It is estimated  by Incontinence UK that 5-10% of the UK population has some form of urinary incontinence. Many big brand incontinence products have a high plastic content,  taking up to 500 years to break down in landfill, risking leaching of micro plastics into our soils, waterways and food chains. 

If you find yourself suffering from incontinence, try not to be embarrassed and do visit your doctor-  there are things that can help. And for those who need some sort of incontinence product we are searching for the most eco-friendly products we can find including washable, reusable solutions and more eco-friendly alternatives to traditional disposable pads, which are plastic free, more biodegradable and free from harmful chemicals.
